The root of the problem starts from 1956
Leading to unbridled encroachments- some by the meek and mostly by the mighty Causing havoc in the entire city every few years.

Government of Telangana started HYDRAA- an initiative to demolish all illegal encroachments on water bodies from 27th June 2024
According to a report in India Today, 166 structures where demolished reclaiming 43.94 acres in less than 2 months. Thousands more need to be removed to give water it’s rightful place
And save the city and its citizens from death and destruction every few years.

But will the Mighty allow HYDRAA to complete it’s laudable task or crush it’s Heads?
