Description

Contributions to Thought
By Silo

Includes two essays of philosophical reflection: Psychology of the Image  and Historiological Discussions.
This is a collection of stories in the fantastic genre that, rather than carrying readers into the worlds of dreams, subtly brings them face to face with the central issues of life.
A collection of definitions predominantly connected with political science and sociology, compiled with the contributions of multiple collaborators.
It is divided into two parts: Tales and Playing with Images. These are, at first glance, short stories with happy endings. At the same time, they may be appreciated as psychological practices based on an original literary form.
Three writings in poetic prose: The Inner Look, The Internal Landscape and The Human Landscape. They address human existence from its most profound interiority to everyday life in the world.
This is a collection of ten open letters expressing Silo’s sociopolitical philosophy in a form that is both critique and proposal for change — and has provoked a wide spectrum of sometimes conflicting opinions.

Humanism in India
By: Fernando A. Garcia

This work was originally written with the purpose of helping humanists to acknowledge and value humanist roots in their own cultures, in confusing times when such roots may deceivingly appear to be definitely superseded by anti-humanist values and practices. Such realization has contributed to inspire humanizing actions in all fields, and will hopefully continue doing so
The steps towards the Universal Human Nation… ….Today we’re in front of a new crossroads, and this is a greater challenge than previous ones because it involves the whole planet. And in front of this complexity arise discomfort and impotence, ‘Us’ is forgotten, a void gains ground within every human being, and we feel increasingly alone, helpless and lacking in meaning. The time has come to ask ourselves, to ask from within, “Where do we come from, and where are we going?” Maybe in the answer we’ll recover meaning, we’ll re-find the ‘Us’, and the turning to take at the crossroads will become illuminated…

Self Liberation
By Luis Amman

This book is divided into two parts: the first, titled Behavioral Improvement, deals with the themes of Relaxation, Psycho-Physical Gymnastics, and Self Knowledge. The second, called Operative, develops techniques of catharsis, transference and self-transference. These are techniques that go beyond the interest of improving behaviors, becoming instruments of change at the service of a new direction in life, if such were the need of the one carrying out the work.
