4 May 1969 marks the historic day when Silo gave his first public talk at Punta De Vacas, Argentine, thus launching public activities based on his doctrine for Universal Humanism.
This day, since then has been celebrated across the continents as the annual day, marking the birth of Humanist Movement.
This year, on 6 May 2023, we celebrated it in a virtual meeting participated by friends from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Srilanka, Nepal, Phillippines, Australia, France, the UK, Argentina, and Chile.
The highlight of the celebrations was:
1. Tito (Ernesto D. Casaa) shared his experiences of the 1960s to 4 May 69 & beyond;
2. Antonia Carvallo shared his experiences from the year before 1969 onwards.
These are wonderful experiences that inspire many apart from being historic.
