The activities of Humanist in Borivili and Dahisar started on 31/10/1986 with a signature campaign for proper civic facilities in Dattapada and Chinchpada. The Humanist Centre of Dahisar was launched on 09/08/1992, later a Humanist Library which was our Humanist Centre was started on 27th August 1995. We had putup a candidate for Municipal Corporation election Dr Subhash Mayekar and our candidate got 563 votes.Started another Humanist Centre in LIC Colony Borivili west on January 30,2005. We were printing initially 500 copies of Humanist Newsletter distributed freely in the neighbourhood, gradually it became 2000 copies and from August 2002 we were publishing 10000 copies. Started Humanist Dispensary in November 2005. Free Tutions for needy students were started in August 2010 at CASA Mariana, Borivili west. We started a group in Bhuj, Kutch District, Gujarat in October 2014. A group was started in Athani, Karnataka in August 2020.
