    About Yourself

     

    The community for human development is one of the organism formed under the aegis of International humanist Movement, formed by an Argentinean thinker, philosopher, writer, spiritual master and orientor of life of millions, nicknamed as SILO (from 1938 to 2010).

    The objectives of the community are the study, development of human processes, which can encourage in spreading and installation of new society, new culture, and new way of living, based on fundamental ideas of humanist attitude, briefly explained.

    ●        Human interest always in the centre

    ●        All human beings are equal

    ●        Rejection of all forms violence and discrimination

    ●        Freedom of ideas and beliefs.

    ●        Respect for personal and cultural diversity

    ●        Encouraging study, research, and knowledge, beyond established truth.

     

    Methodology of action is based on

    ●        Active non-violence and non-discrimination

    ●        Simultaneous self-development and social development.

    ●        True voluntarism, solidarity and reciprocity

    ●        Collaboration and networking with like-minded organisation for joint action

    Proposed practical work of simultaneous self-development and social development.

    A. SELF-DEVELOPMENT

    ●        The self-development meetings of study, interchange, reflection and self-resolution are held every week, month and quarter are held, with overnight occasional retreats for deeper study.

     

    B. SOCIAL DEVELOMENT

     

    ●        Broadly working in the neighbouring environment, as well as in villages, slums, tribal zone, with oppressed, poor, in the field of education, health and quality of life.

    ●        Organising public seminars, exhibition of awareness, social campaigns, opinion polls, participation in joint action, publication of books on humanist values

    Membership:

    The participation is open to all, as an individual or institute, without any discrimination, provided endorsement of our fundamental ideas about humanist attitude and methodology of action.

    In synthesis, the community for human development works for a new way of thinking, feeling, and action, paving a path of a new way of living for humanity.
