On 16 April 2022, on a call by Gandhian, Shri PV Rajagopal, some of us met to work out the alternative system through which the farmers and consumers can be connected together such that while the Farmers get good financial returns on their produce, the Consumers also get quality food products and reasonable prices.
Taking the discussion forward, some of us met, Launching the initiative to connect Farmers with Consumers to ensure quality & good prices for both, we had an online meeting to share the current examples available and the way forward. The meeting held on 03 May 2022 was very interesting as we already have two different levels of working models available to take the work forward.
