Kurmaguda Ward in Hyderabad saw over 150 Girls and Women enthusiastically participating in Skipping Rope, Lemon & Spoon Race, Three Leg Jump, Musical Chairs, Singing and Rangoli.

Most participants- young and old said that they were taking part in International Women’s Day Program for the first time in their lives.
65 year old Ms. Ram Bai of Chandraiya Huts who also participated actively said that she got this opportunity to play after over 50 years and is now realising what she has missed.

Over 30 elders participated in sports and games and all requested that such programs should be organised regularly.
The Program was organised for Holistic Development and Empowerment of Women by COVA Peace Network In collaboration with Chandraiya Huts Development & Peace Group and Kurmaguda Development & Peace Group on 28th February 2025 at Kurmaguda.
